Limited Face-to-Face Learning (PTM Terbatas) was carried out in January 2022, based on policy of Joint Decision Letter (SKB) of 4 Ministers which are Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, Minister of Religion, Minister of Health, and Minister of Home Affairs in December 2021. Knowing that learning inside classrooms requires clean and hygienic environment, PT Kawan Lama Sejahtera as part of Kawan Lama Group in Commercial & Industrial business pillar donated 30 Nilfisk High Pressure Cleaners C100.7 to 30 SMKs in Jakarta through an event of cooperation between Kawan Lama Sejahtera with Education Department (Disdik) and MGMP (Teacher Working Group) Engineering of Jakarta at 15 March 2022, at Education Department Building of Jakarta.
Donation was carried out symbolically by Albert Primusanto as Director of Kawan Lama Sejahtera to Nahdiana, Head of Education Department of Jakarta, followed by products handover directly to 30 SMK representatives. In the same event, Metrology and Automotive training was given to SMK teachers by professionals from Kawan Lama Sejahtera.
Albert said, “Kawan Lama Sejahtera keeps its commitment of being part of education ecosystem in Indonesia to enrich the life of the nation. Learning activities in pandemic situation is not a simple thing. This is our mutual responsibility to keep the learning process in clean and hygienic environment, hence support the quality of our education at the end.”
Through the products, hopefully SMKs are able to effectively clean the classrooms and other areas using water efficiently, resulting smooth and safe learning activities. This is important because vocational learning in SMKs is dominated by practices that require students presence to operate machine and other technical equipment, accompanied by teachers.
“I am grateful, thanks to PT Kawan Lama Sejahtera that supports vocational education and undertakes various trainings for teachers and students. This event is not merely ceremonial, but we all realize that all these efforts are done in order to achieve better education quality, because it is our mutual need. Hopefully in the future we can collaborate bigger to enhance the quality of our nation's education system," said Nahdiana.

This event is also a follow-up related to document signing of cooperation agreement between Ministry of Education and Culture's Directorate General of Vocational Education and Kawan Lama Sejahtera, in the Ministry's Office, Jakarta, comprising aspects of competency enhancement of instructors / teachers / lecturer, students, providing instructors / teachers / lecturer from Business and Industrial Sectors (DUDI) for vocational learning, development and utilization of vocational facilities, etc.
Kawan Lama Sejahtera, with over 65 years experience of participation in national industry, consistently cooperates with various parties in developing education quality in Indonesia, implemented through various activities whose target is the creation of alignment (link and match) between vocational education and real work, especially in industrial sector.
