As a token of care and support to the kids’ comfort in studying, having rest, and doing activities, INFORMA gave support for the study room and bedroom to Calvary Orphanage in Bekasi, March 2025.
The support given was study desks and chairs, lockers, mattresses, and bunk beds. The support was hoped to bring a more comfortable and functional environment for kids to study better, rest more optimally, and live their days enthusiastically.
Calvary Orphanage is occupied by 44 kids from various backgrounds, such as dropping out of school, working since childhood to help the family, and being cared for by elderly family members with limited income.
Rev. Vera Maspaitella, Chairperson of the Calvary Foundation, stated, “We are very grateful to INFORMA, which is part of Kawan Lama Group, by donating beds and mattresses that make the kids rest well. The most important thing that makes them happy is there are study desks and chairs for them so they can study well.”
A kid from Calvary Orphanage, Elisabeth, said, “Sometimes we lie on the floor and write, it feels uncomfortable. With the study room, also study desks and chairs make us study more properly and focused.”
More than just furniture, INFORMA not only provided comfort to the kids of Calvary Orphanage, but also hope of a brighter future.
