Aligned with the mission to bring value for a better life, also related to Ramadan in the moment of its 70-year anniversary celebration, Kawan Lama Group held Mudik Bersama (coming home together) Special 70th Kawan Lama Group 2025. The event which has been held since 2018 felt more meaningful because this year, Kawan Lama Group also celebrates its 70-year anniversary. There were three departure points of Head Office, Distribution Center Jababeka, and Distribution Center Cikupa, with 10 destination cities namely Solo, Blora, Pemalang, Pemalang, Ajibarang, Bumiayu, Temanggung, Kebumen, Wangon, and Yogyakarta.
There were 21 buses used to accommodate over 960 employees with their families, divided into two departure batches, 28 March and 5 April 2025. Also, there was a return route back to Jakarta from Kebumen and Cilacap on 5 April 2025.
In her speech when releasing the departure from Head Office, representative from Human Capital Kawan Lama Group, Lianawati said, “Today surely became a special moment for all of you, where after undertaking one month of fasting, you will travel to your areas of origin. Hopefully everyone is healthy and can be happy meeting your families at home.”
“Thanks to Kawan Lama Group for holding this event. Hopefully we can arrive at the destinations smoothly without any obstacles, until finally coming back to Jakarta again,” said Tasun, one of the event participants.
During Ramadan 2025, Kawan Lama Group with its business units also shared happiness with over 200 orphans and less fortunate ones through a series of social activities done by F&B ID through ‘Share A Cup, Share the Joy’ program during March, Living World Pekanbaru (13/3), Living World Alam Sutera with AZKO, INFORMA, and Toys Kingdom (20/3), Toys Kingdom in Living World Grand Wisata (21/3), Living World Kota Wisata with AZKO, INFORMA, and Toys Kingdom (24/3), cleaned mosques near Living World Pekanbaru and Living World Alam Sutera complete with cleaning equipment donations for praying comfort. Besides, over 6,100 Kawan Lama Group employees also joined fast break together events from 24 to 26 March 2025 in Head Office, Distribution Center Jababeka, Distribution Center Cikupa, and other locations in events themed Berkah Ramadan: Harmoni dalam Kebersamaan (Ramadan Blessings: Harmony in Togetherness).
